"Oak Leaf Estate owners and prospective owners,
Thank you so much for sharing our interest, excitement and expectations for Oak Leaf Estates. We appreciate you and your helpful involvement.
We have communicated various stages of development at Oak Leaf Estates during infrastructure, but I wanted to recap, adding some additional perspective and updates.
The overall development has progressed quite nicely and we are very pleased. We have navigated through weather, FEMA, PSO, ONG, numerous inspections and a host of other things with successful outcomes. Amy has represented Oak Leaf very well and has certainly communicated progress accurately and thoroughly at every juncture.
Our commitment to have lots ready to build on by mid-summer has been met. There are currently three wonderful homes being built and two more beginning very soon. Due to unexpected summer rain and other red tape issues, PSO and ONG are just now finishing up. We should have Electric and Gas within a few days, as they are now over 95% complete. Each entity bent the rules for us, dodged trees and fulfilled our requests on a plethora of other items to ensure we were completely satisfied. We are very grateful.
The fence and security exit gates are near completion as well. The wood portion of our fencing will be stained a dark espresso with steel stability poles finished in black and all finials will soon be installed as well. FEMA has asked us to make a few more adjustments in the creek (round off a couple of knolls and secure the banks) before we begin final clean up and beautification. This process has taken much longer than anticipated, based on many conversations and commitments on their part, but the good news is we know it is being done right and will be completed to their satisfaction. For each action completed, our engineers, infrastructure team and legal all must sign off before proceeding.
As some of you may know, we chose not to have a “lot draw”, where builders buy each lot available, all at once, prior to any marketing to the community. Instead, we took a much more personal approach and chose to sell to individual custom home buyers first. We did this so that each homeowner could get “pick of the litter” according to what type of house they were building and their desired location. Many home builders have expressed interest in buying lots at Oak Leaf after all infrastructure is in place. We may connect with a few of the top-quality builders as part of our plan to sell the remaining lots.
With that being said, if you have any friends who may be thinking about purchasing a lot in the next 30 - 60 days, please pass along this information. When a builder buys a lot, they may add a premium to make money on the lot after they build the home. Regardless of how we proceed, we will review and hold the right to approve each builder and home being built to keep the quality, integrity and uniqueness of Oak Leaf Estates intact.
Lastly, as you are driving through the development, please keep in mind that we will “officially” be finished with our development in about 60 days or so. Even though we’ve provided access for those who wanted to start construction early, we still have work to do. The fence will be completed, the exit gates will be installed, the jogging path will be installed, the pond lights, fountains and pumps will be installed, the lighting will be connected, the street signs will be installed, the park area will be manicured and all final grading and beautification will be completed for the smaller pond and creek areas.
Thank you all for choosing Oak Leaf, as it has been our goal from day one to be the most desired address in Tulsa! From hearing the feedback from current lot owners, realtors, brokers, bankers, appraisers, developers and homebuilders, we are well on our way. We are very grateful.

10.20.16 - The Summit Club Event Officially Launches Oak Leaf Estates Development.
Oak Leaf Estates has now been officially and publicly announced to Tulsa, OK!
Our launch at the Tulsa Summit Club went swimmingly thanks to Jim Weger, First Oklahoma Bank and Regent Bank.
Hors d’oeuvres, the Tulsa skyline and a beautiful sunset worked in concert to set the tone for the evening. Henry Penix, the developer and Amy Prosser, sales and design, shared updates and answered questions. In addition, Brian Green of Ira M. Green Construction, Tim Terral and J. Pat Murphy of TEP and Joy King of Holloway, Monaghan and King fielded questions and offered updates.
For those unable to attend - our Final Plat has been filed and recorded, infrastructure has begun and is approximately 20% complete and only 26, half-acre to one-acre lots, are available as of today.
